Vehanta

Terms of Service

Effective July 24, 2026

What Vehanta is

Vehanta provides research reports about vehicle models, built from public government data (NHTSA complaints, recalls, safety ratings; EPA fuel economy) and, where noted, AI-generated summaries of that data. By using the service you accept these terms.

Research, not advice or inspection

  • Reports describe vehicle populations (a year/make/model), not the specific unit you're buying. A specific car may be better or worse than its model's record.
  • Reports are not a vehicle-history report, a mechanical inspection, or professional/financial advice. Always get an independent pre-purchase inspection.
  • Risk scores and estimates are calculated from counted public evidence; items marked as estimates are approximations, not quotes.
  • AI summaries are generated from the evidence shown and can contain mistakes — verify anything material before acting on it.

Data sources

Government data is used as published; we don't guarantee it is complete, current or error-free, and NHTSA/EPA don't endorse Vehanta. Recall status for a specific VIN should be confirmed with the manufacturer or dealer.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, bulk-download, resell or misrepresent the service; don't submit URLs or content you don't have the right to share; don't attempt to disrupt or probe our infrastructure.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vehanta is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on report content — including purchase decisions.
